Teacher Support for SURF's Educational Materials
A History teacher at the Hampton School, Andy Lawrence had this to say about SURF'a Educational Materials:
"The educational materials created by SURF make a very positive contribution to the teaching of the issues surrounding genocide. The focus on survivor's testimonies allows pupils to see victims of the genocide as individuals rather than just as victims and creates a connection with pupils' own lives and experiences. It is a strength of these resources that pupils will be able to draw their own lessons - the importance of which cannot be underestimated."
