10 December 2008

Reading of the Testimonies NYCJoin Activists Around the World & Stage A Public Reading In Your City!

What?

Reading of the Testimonies. To mark the 15th Anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, Survivors Fund and Foundation Rwanda are coordinating a worldwide Reading of the Testimonies of Survivors of the Rwandan genocide.

When?

April 6th, 2009, the 15th Anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide.

Who?

We need your help! From Hong Kong to Sydney to NY to London, we are looking for organizers in key cities and on campuses worldwide to stage a Reading of the Testimonies event. Whether over the course of the lunch break at your university, or as part of an all-day commemoration in a public square or institution, we will provide you with the toolkit, testimonies and technical support to make your event a success!

Why?

By organising a Reading of the Testimonies in your area, you will help to raise awareness of the plight of survivors and the legacy of the genocide. Together we will convey a global message that we remember the genocide, the survivors and the victims.

How?

If you would like to be involved in any capacity or are interested in learning more, please contact us at info@survivors-fund.org.uk or info@foundationrwanda.org.
